Device Pairing
The most common pairing problem is not doing too little. It is going into advanced setup too early.
Recommended normal path
- Go to Network -> Devices.
- Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi or local network.
- Start pairing first, then run a connection check.
If you are only bringing in your own second device, you usually do not need host:port at all.
If you cannot see the device you want to pair
- First confirm both devices are on the same network.
- Return to Network -> Devices and refresh or reopen the page.
- If it still does not appear, retry pairing before touching advanced mode.
If the PIN succeeds but verification does not
That usually means pairing itself succeeded but the connectivity test did not.
Tap Test Connection once and wait a few seconds. If it still fails, confirm that both devices are online and that the network has not just changed.
